How to be Successful Even if You Don’t Believe in Yourself

file1741297603822Having faith in yourself is extremely important. A confident mindset will allow you to persist through the inevitable failure along the journey. It will help you to ignore all the “nay-sayers” who will discourage you from your dreams. And it will give you the courage to trust in your own heart, even if it contradicts everything you’ve been taught.

Unfortunately, we men are not bred to be confident and powerful. We’re raised to obey and to trust the advice of our superiors. So if you’re someone who doesn’t believe in yourself, you’re definitely not alone.

In yesterday’s post I told you that the key ingredient for business success is certainty. The good news is that certainty can be learned. It can be trained. It can be developed.

And the best way to do so is to have faith in yourself.

But come on, you and I have both heard that a thousand times, right? No one ever talks about how to have faith in yourself. That’s where I come in, comrade. By the time you read this article you will be ready to put your best foot forward and begin making your dreams come true.

The first thing you need to realize is that your brain is capable of incredible things that modern science has yet to fully understand. So instead of turning to science for support, let us turn our attention to the people who have actually done those incredible things.

In this world there are two types of people: winners and losers. Winners are people who have made their dreams come true. They’ve made the impossible happen. They set out to achieve and then did exactly that.

Then there are losers. Losers are people of inactivity, inconsistency, and giving up. Losers never commit to their deepest desires. Some losers never even search for them in the first place.

Since you’re a comrade of D/C Russ, you will no longer heed the word of losers. You will only listen to the winners.

This will be hard at first because the planet is over-saturated with losers. At times, it may seem like the losers are speaking the truth simply because there are so many of them and they’re literally all around you.

But you must learn to tune them out. And, instead, listen to the people who have harnessed the power of their mind to the ends that they desired. Listen to the people who overcame odds, did amazing things, and created their dream life.

These people are few and far between, which means you must deliberately seek them out. Find them on the internet. Hear them in music. Read about them in autobiographies.

In order to begin believing in yourself, you must surround yourself with information from people who preach the power of your mind. Listen to the people who tell you that you can do anything you set your mind to.

Trust me when I say that no matter who you are, what your shortcomings are, or what excuses you have…somewhere out there is someone who’s had it WAY harder than you. There have been many people who overcame incredible odds and extreme adversity who will tell you that anyone can make their dreams come true…

…yes, even you.

So if you don’t believe in yourself, the best advice I have for you is to brainwash yourself. Or rather, “un-brainwash” yourself. When you’re constantly surrounded with a winner’s mentality, you will begin to see winning traits in yourself.

Keep reminding yourself over and over to only listen to the people who have what you want. Ignore and discard the rest.

Read inspirational works that confirm the power of the mind of man. Browse quotes by successful people. Take advice from people who empower you and ignore the snakes that try to disempower you.

Once you begin to develop confidence in yourself, you will naturally hone in on your desires and you will release the resistance you have against taking action.

And once you take action, you will begin to see results.

Results have a funny way of sneaking up behind you and giving you that huge push of confidence that keeps you going for the long run.

Yes, you will fail. Yes, you will be tempted to quit.

But remember, comrade…remember what your teachers have taught you: “Never, ever give up. Somehow, someway, you will find the path to your goal.”

Do not let the world win. Fear not the snake’s evil hiss.
