The 10 Conspiracy Theory Archetypes — Which One Are You?

conspiracy-theory-all-seeing-eye-illuminatiWhen it comes to conspiracy theory, there’s a lot of speculation about what’s true and what’s not.

This of course makes it pretty hard for everyone to be on the same page.

Some people believe there is no conspiracy at all…

While others believe that there’s an evil race of reptilian shape-shifters who are mind controlling our government leaders and feasting on our fear.

As you read about these 10 conspiracy theory archetypes, ask yourself where you fit in.

You might find that you’re a hybrid of two or more belief systems.

But no matter what you believe about conspiracy theory, there are a couple key principles that can greatly enhance the quality of your life and create positive change in the world.

At the end of this article I will offer a simple mentality that anyone can use to make life better for themselves and everyone around them.

So, are you ready?

Then let’s begin.

The 10 Archetypes of Conspiracy Theory

1) The Fear Monger

The fear monger actively reads up on the most far-fetched claims and is well-versed on all the latest conspiracies.

S/he believes that total meltdown is always right around the corner. The slightest disturbance can actually send her into an panic attack.

The fear monger spends a great deal of her time perusing YouTube videos that feature messages of doom combined with scary background music.

She’s addicted to fear and is constantly searching for new outlets to fuel her addiction. Her fear compels her to insist that other people should become wary of the government, evil aliens, and the Illuminati.

2) The Preacher

Like the fear monger, the preacher tends to have a great deal of fear which often comes out rather forcefully in the form of preaching.

He is firmly grounded in the Bible and is an avid reader of Revelations.

Though fearful and angry, the preacher has a lot of love in his heart and values service to others.

He finds comfort in the assurance that Christ will come again to lead him safely into heaven.

3) The Survivalist

The survivalist takes his concerns about the conditions of the world and puts them into action. Again, motivated primarily by fear, the survivalist does everything in his power to ensure that he will be safe when everything collapses.

His suspicion of the government drives him to protect himself in ways other than building an underground bomb shelter and stockpiling beans and ramen noodles. Generally equipped with weapons, he sets himself up for failure with a “me vs. them” mentality that will surely lead to his demise.

The survivalist’s tragic downfall is his lack of connection to Source. He takes matters solely into his own hands, creating an internal struggle of pain and loneliness.

He lives by the sword, and so he must die by the sword.

4) The Spoon Fed

The Spoon Fed are those people who get their information primarily from mainstream news sources. These people are addicted to the dramatic presentation of hyper-inflated information that makes them feel like they’re staying informed.

These news sources present a minuscule and dumbed-down version of current events that serves the purpose of distracting and entertaining, rather than informing.

The news media relies on emotions like fear and anger that create tension between two sides of the same imaginary coin. Conflict is valued over unity.

5) The Buddhist

The Buddist is the wisest and most peaceful class of people. Through regular meditation, he is able to remain centered and unafraid despite being well aware of the numerous atrocities that are committed all across the globe.

He aims to help restore peace on Earth through regular contemplation and a focus on Love, gratitude, and Oneness. Since everything is connected, his efforts in meditation prove to be quite an effective way to catalyze change on the planet.

The Buddhist, although saddened by the state of the world, is not concerned with vengeance or hatred as a way to create justice. He believes in the balance of all things and knows that great suffering can be transmuted into Peace through consciously practicing Love and Forgiveness.

6) The Researcher

An astute observer on the active quest for the acquisition of knowledge, the researcher aims to disseminate key information that can help in the transformation of the planet.

I chose David Wilcock for the picture because I believe he is the most profound and insightful of all the researchers. David is not only unafraid of the truth, but he actively works to restore right-mindedness on the planet through love, peace, and compassion.

A researcher’s aim is to undermine deception and social brainwashing. They rely on a great body of evidence to give people a tangible framework for uncovering the truth.

7) The Battle Drummer

The battle drummer is adept at bringing together large groups of people to protest. He is a field commander who is able to get mass numbers of people fired up to make changes in the world.

Often known for being boisterous and outspoken, the battle drummer rallies people together to spread awareness of injustices in various economic and social institutions.

Sadly, the battle drummer struggles to persuade people of a traditional demographic, primarily because he is often too loud and over-the-top. The battle drummer pictured above is Alex Jones who is notorious for his highly assertive delivery of the truth.

8) The “That’s Bullshit!” Guy

This archetype is well aware that there is a planetary power struggle and that the vast majority of people are being suppressed. It is for this reason that he has abandoned society and does the bare minimum in order to get by in life.

Generally you will find this archetype associated with regular cannabis use, which quells his anger but also destroys any motivation to engage in productive behavior to change his situation or better the planet.

Often overly-critical of the system, the “that’s bullshit!” guy harbors a self-defeating philosophy of anger that ends up causing more harm than good.

9) The Patriot

Perhaps the most dangerous archetype to the welfare of the world, the patriot will forcefully defend a set of arbitrary values like “duty, honor, country”.

Completely devoid of a critical mindset, the patriot often associates ‘America’ with badassery, big balls, freedom, and Goodyear tires.

Unfortunately, the patriot is often found in the military, holding the weapons that inadvertently grant him sovereignty in the form of force.

However, not all military members are patriots. Many of them are peaceful and loving people who have unfortunately been misled to believe that their service is contributing positively to the world.

The patriot can also be found in conservative colleges where he’s free to pontificate about how America is “the best damn country in the world”.

10) The Ostrich

There’s not too much to say about the ostriches. They tend to distance themselves from politics as far as possible, which is actually a step ahead of the patriot and the spoon fed.

Ostriches keep their heads in the sand and have absolutely no idea what’s going on in the world. They usually can’t point out Africa on a map.

No amount of logic or information can persuade an ostrich, unless it is somehow etched into Kim Kardashian’s surgically enhanced ass.

There is also a rare breed of ostriches who are highly intelligent and just prefer to keep to themselves.

Nevertheless, the ostrich remains fairly neutral in the planetary struggle between good and evil.

*Bonus* – D/C Russ

Bold and fearless, D/C Russ seeks to know the truth, but with grace and poise. He derives his knowledge through a balance of widely varied perspectives.

His message consists of love, peace, and personal power and his mission is to inspire others to imbue their own lives with these attributes.

D/C defends the rights of all beings on planet earth while maintaining confidence that the good guy will always prevail.

He believes that there is indeed a group of people attempting to possess the planet, but that they actually have no inherent power over others. The greatest power, according to D/C, comes from within each of us.

That’s why he believes that there is no one to blame but everyone.

The knowledge is out there. The truth is now available at your finger tips.

If you don’t educate yourself, no one will do it for you. It is your responsibility to unleash your inner power through meditation, exercise, a proper diet, and learning to activate your pineal gland.

As more and more people awaken to the truth, planetary oppression will quickly evaporate all on its own, rendering conspiracy theory completely irrelevant.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what your individual beliefs are. All you have to do is not be afraid to follow your dreams and allow your heart to blossom with Love for all beings and the world that we share.

Put simply, live life by the Golden Rule.

However, allow me to offer an extension to that rule:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. But also do unto yourself as God would do unto you.

I think that covers everyone.

With this simple mentality, you can help free the planet…

…all you need is love and faith.

Alex Jones is badass but a little quacky sometimes. I feel he does more harm than good because he discredits the message he is trying to get across with his eratic behaviour and often wild, unfounded conjecture. If he would stick to reporting news and shining the spotlight on how freedom is under attack rather than going off the deep end every time theres a bomb or shooting he would be a lot more credible.

Good article DC. I’ll share it with my friends.
