The Only Secret to Succeeding at Your Goal

We now live in a world of massive information.

Information is everywhere.

Pretty much anything you want to do, someone has already done it. And through the power of the internet, they can easily show you how.

But how much of this information is a blessing and how much of it is a curse?

Just about anywhere you look on the internet, you can find someone trying to sell you something that will help you meet your goal.

The process is the same every single time:

  1. Capture your attention
  2. Pique your interest
  3. Get you excited
  4. Offer a tiny bit of value
  5. Make promises
  6. Try to sell you something
  7. Show you the .1% of people who achieved results from the product

That’s pretty much the standard process for selling information on the internet.

And I’m not saying it’s bad…many times it can be helpful. But the vast majority of the time, once you purchase something, it will not actually live up to its claim.

“Experts” everywhere tell you that they know the secret. They know it because they learned it the “hard way.” But if you only purchase their product or service, then you will save yourself years of frustration.

But from what I have learned, the truth is that there are no secrets. There is only one secret. And it cannot be shared. It can only be developed from within.

Learning from other people is a good thing. It stimulates ideas and helps you uncover the secret you’ve had in you the entire time.

But at the end of the day, there is only one secret.

And that secret is to “do.”

Make it happen.

If you don’t know where to start, then just start anywhere. Keep “doing” until you end up with what it was that you were after.

And if you have to change or redefine what it is that you’re after, then by all means do so.

The only way to find out what you really want is to keep marching through the obstacles, the “failures,” and the let-downs.

No one can walk your journey for you. The big secret is that you have to walk it yourself.

Sure, others can help you…but don’t expect them to do for you what you are not willing to do for yourself.

The moment you stop looking for shortcuts, cheat codes, and secrets is the very same moment when you begin your journey in uncovering the greatest power within.

Sometimes you will falter. Sometimes you will have invincible self-confidence. Sometimes you will feel like a failure. Sometimes you will be pumped. Sometimes you will be lazy. Sometimes you will be confused. Sometimes you’ll feel like giving up. Sometimes you will have incredible breakthroughs. Sometimes you will have bad luck and sometimes you will have good luck.

Everything you can imagine is going to happen to you on the way to your goal.

My only advice to you would be: be ready for the changes.

And, no matter what comes your way, just don’t give up. Even if you have to go back to the drawing board, just do whatever you think needs to happen in order to move forward.

The only thing you have to do is keep going…keep progressing…keep moving forward.

    Great article. It’s so true how so much “expert” information out there is mostly hype. As an American Sign Language Deaf (Emotional Manifestor) Mentor/Tutor/Evaluator. I’ve spent years refining my skills to the point that people kept asking me if I “still” tutor. Of course I still tutor. Why did they think that it was a “phase” or a “not a real job”?! Ironically, I run out of customers due to successfully teaching them what they need to know as I studied hard to find out techniques and problem-shoot issues that blocks or delays their learning. I give out a lot of good, blunt and realistic blog/articles and get a lot of compliments from strangers all over but not attract new customers. (Is this the repelling close aura issue that I have to cope with for the rest of my life?) It seems my humble site without all the flashing gimmicks doesn’t impress most folks. I’ve had so many customers regret not coming to see me sooner due to rumors, jealous colleagues (typical of Manifestor’s issues – dealing with either people who admire us or is jealous of us), financial limitations, etc.

      Yeah many people are in this same situation as you. Don’t worry, it’s not your manifestor aura pushing them away. There are a lot of things you can do to fix this situation.
